What can I say?! They ROCKED! The boys put on an awesome performance of part of "I Want It That Way", then, ripping off the coats, and jumping into their lastest single, "Larger Than Life"! The outfits were a new look but they had a lot of edge and it was really funky! I loved it! And yes, they took home the Viewers Choice Award, woohoo! They also brought along their gfs! Leighanne, I didn't see Mandy, Christina was performing on stage, and Kevin and Howie had their ladies with them! Check it out again September 11 at 12 noon!
Coming out sometime next month, AJ's ex-girlfriend, Marissa, and Brian's ex, Samantha, are putting out books about what it's like dating a Backstreet Boy! Make sure you look out for it! Hmm, I wonder what the guys will think?

Backstreet Boys Post Fastest Palace Sellout Ever for Their November 6 Concert, Eventually Filling up Three Shows in Less Than an Hour
AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Aug. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Multi-platinum pop/R&B vocal group Backstreet Boys' ``Into The Millennium'' Tour sold out The Palace's entire 20,000-plus seating configuration for three concerts on November 6, 7 and 8 in less than one hour when the shows went on sale today at 10 a.m.
The first show, November 6, sold out in a Palace-record eight minutes, surpassing Madonna's previous record of 10 minutes set for her October 23, 1993 concert. The feat is even more remarkable since the shows were sold the in the round, utilizing the entire Palace arena configuration of more than 20,000 seats and there was an eight ticket limit per customer.
The second show, slated for November 7, filled to capacity in 18 minutes, leading to a November 8 concert which sold out in 31 minutes.
The Backstreet Boys join a select handful of artists who have sold out The Palace for three or more consecutive nights including Garth Brooks, Neil Diamond, ZZ Top, Elton John and Michael Jackson.
The Backstreet Boys' ``Into The Millennium'' Tour at The Palace is presented nationally by MTV, Polaroid and Sears.

Fans think concert--Boys think video
As Backstreet Boys fans camped out nationwide Saturday for nearly 850,000 tickets to the Millenium tour's North American concert stops-which sold out within hours-production of the groups "Larger Than Life" music video was wrapping up in Orlando.
The guys flew in from Stockholm,Sweden-the last leg of their European tour-last Sunday, endured costume fittings for the video Monday, dance rehearsal's with famed choreographer Fatima from noon to 3:00 a.m. Tuesday and then began three round-the-clock days of shooting at Universal Studios Florida.
Details of the sci-fi, space-travel video may be shrouded in secrecy, but we've learned the boys have key scenes wearing nothing but, as Howie says: "tighty whities." No, girls, not those Fruit of the Loom brief frights-but the "long tight white" ones. Thats why Kevin Richardson was wearing a blue cotton bathrobe during Thursday's live MTV appearance. The video also explains Pebbles Flintstone look Nick Carter inflicted on his blond locks.
"He'd been doing that to look to look 'spacey' for the video," one insider said. Well, then congrats on that success.

BSB are busy touring in Europe still but they are coming back home to shoot their new video, "Larger Than Life" and they promise it will be awesome! They also announced their North American tour dates!

Sadly, BSB's "I Want It That Way" video finally had to be retired off TRL but at least the went out at #1!
Brian is probably going to be doing a cameo in his girlfriend Leighanne Wallace's new movie, "Olive Juice", so look out for him!
The Backstreet Boys are up for 4 awards (all for "I Want It That Way") at the MTV Music Video Awards this September! The awards are: Video of the Year, Viewers Choice, Best Pop Video and Best Group Video! They are sure to win at least one and they will also be performing that night so check it out!

Did you see the Disney Concert special?! Wasn't it great! The guys performed, "Larger Than Life", "Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely", "I Want It That Way", "The Perfect Fan", and lots of their older great songs! They were dressed to kill in their great new outfits looking very handsome! Also, Nick & B-Rok played some b-ball, AJ & Howie went shopping, Kevin went horseback riding and then they all met up later to go bowling! (Check out the "Disney-In Concert" page for pix and info!) Nick's and Brian's girlfriends, Mandy & Leighanne, were also there, in side choice balcony seats, but were not shown!
